Read Any Good Books Lately?
December 04, 2008
Tired of your same old books? Looking for something new to you and them? Try out one of these...they are sure to be a hit.
Touch & Feel Fire Engine
We have a few of the "Touch and Feel" series books, and they are all
big hits, even 1+ years after first purchase. This one is sure to be a
hit with toddler and preschoolers who are obsessed with all 'things
that go!' I love that these books are interactive, and encourage my son
to play with the pages instead of quickly flipping through them.

Animalia
I LOVED this book as a kid. The illustrations are incredible and will
keep you and your child entranced for a long time! So much to look at
explain and explore in this book. Definitely recommend.

Trains: A Pop-Up Railroad Book
As with any pop-up or moveable parts book, this
is best read with adult supervision (unless you're looking for a few
minutes of peace!). For any train enthusiast, this is a must-have book.
If your child is anything like mine, it will get obsessive repeats
(likely right after you finish one read through).

Harold & The Purple Crayon
I also absolutely LOVED this book as a child and would read it over and
over. It's a timeless classic that allows children's imaginations to
run wild. Personally, I'm blaming this book for me being a day dreamer
as a kid.

Airplanes (Sticker Stories)
What kid doesn't love stickers? (Ok, maybe there's one or two.) The
beauty of this book is that it comes with a TON of stickers -- and they
are reusable (provided your kid doesn't try to eat them)! You can make
up different stories with the sticker placement -- Take off! Landing!
-- and maybe even get a moment to yourself while the kid is engrossed
in sticker/things that go land.
